Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the 9th edition of the International Transplant and Cellular Therapy Course to be held once again in Barcelona (Spain) on 6-8 September 2024.

We hope it will be as successful as the prior editions; although COVID19 pandemics has modified our life, it has not decreased the interest for this course which is already “a classic” within the EBMT Educational Portfolio. The course has a clear objective, the critical review of the most outstanding aspects in the field of hematopoietic progenitor transplantation, other cell therapy strategies as well as gene therapy. Through different presentations made by experts in the field, in an agile and interactive format, the aim of this event is the direct participation of young people through the presentation of clinical cases, among other activities.

As in prior editions, the course will take place over three days with two distinct tracks in order to embrace as many professionals as possible; the adult and paediatric tracks will focus on the specific peculiarities of these two populations of patients.

We hope that this new edition will also be of interest to you and that you will be encouraged to collaborate; your participation will undoubtedly be a key factor in its success. If you are interested in sponsoring this meeting, please contact fundraising@ebmt.org

Yours sincerely,

The Organising Committee
