Who should take the Physicians Exam?
- The exam is targeted only towards Physicians.
- The applicant must hold a medical degree.
- They must also have certification in haematology, paediatrics, immunology, or medical oncology, in accordance with their national regulations.
- The applicant must be a Member of EBMT (either Individual or Centre Member) or work within a centre that is a member of EBMT
- Final-year Residents in haematology, medical oncology, immunology, and paediatrics can also participate in the EBMT Exam.
How can I prepare for the Physicians Exam?
An online preparatory course, is your best resource to help you prepare for the EBMT Exam.
The 2025 edition course includes the following content and it was accredited by EBAH-CME and awarded 81 credit points.
- EBMT Handbook and other resources.
- Materials from the 50th and 51st Annual Meetings of the EBMT and other events from 2024 and 2025.
The 2026 edition of the online preparatory course is being prepared.
When and where will the Physicians Exam take place?
- Date: 22 March 2026
- Time: 15.30-18:00h
- Location: IFEMA
- Format: 100 multiple-choice questions; minimum passing score is 75%.
Will I receive a certification?
Successful candidates will receive EBMT certification.

How can I prepare for the Nurses Exam?
EBMT Course for Nurses will be available on the e-learning platform and open to all public from 17 November 2025.
It is mandatory to pass the course test in order to be accepted into the exam.
The course includes the following content:.
- EBMT Nurses Textbook.
- Materials from the 49th, 50th and 51st Annual Meetings of the EBMT and other events from 2023, 2024 and 2025.
- Scientific articles, videos, conference presentations and extended catalogue of recommended resources.
