The pandemic has not only made us all realise that infections are among the most serious complications for our patients after stem cell transplantation, but also reinforced the need for continuous improvement in anti-infective strategies. To ensure the best possible protection for our patients, it is our duty to develop these strategies further and to provide our colleagues with the highest quality training and ongoing education.
The 28th Infectious Diseases Working Party Educational Course offers an opportunity to learn about the latest scientific and clinical advancements in the field of infectious diseases at the highest level. In addition to “state-of-the-art” insights and future perspectives in pathogen diagnostics, the course will focus on appropriate treatment and, above all, the integration of all anti-infective tools into the overall treatment concept for our patients.
