- A dedicated team
Under the leadership of Dr. Isabel Sánchez-Ortega, the newly formed department is poised to design and deliver impactful educational programmes. Dr. Sánchez-Ortega, a distinguished haematologist with over 15 years of experience in haematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT), has been a driving force in education and research. Since joining EBMT in 2020 as a Medical Officer, she has spearheaded initiatives in accreditation, learning, and research.

With expanded resources and expertise, the Education Department will provide robust support for our current educational activities, ensuring their continued growth and success.
