Severe Aplastic Anaemia Working Party (SAAWP) Nurse

The purpose of the working party nurse is to promote, co-ordinate and deliver nursing education and research activity within the Working Party (WP) under the supervision of the WP lead nurse and in collaboration with the EBMT Nurses Group Research and Scientific committees.

Member of the Scientific Committee

The Scientific Committee in collaboration with the EBMT Nurses Group President and President Elect/ Past President, other Committees and other Nurses Groups, aims to co-ordinate and provide a range of educational activities for nurses and allied health professionals within the field of HCT and cell therapy.

Member of the Paediatric Committee

The Paediatric Committee consists of EBMT Nurses Group members who have an interest in promoting paediatric nursing within the field of HCT and cell therapy. The principal aim of the committee is to improve the care of paediatric and adolescent HCT and cell therapy patients.
The main objectives of the committee are to promote, develop and share knowledge and experience between the paediatric nurses throughout Europe, developing countries and within the EBMT and to collaborate with the EBMT Paediatric Diseases Working Party.

Next Generation Nurse Representative

As a Nurses Group, we recognise that there is opportunity to invest in the next generation of transplant nursing leaders and increase the appeal and reach of EBMT to nurses who have more recently embarked on a career in transplant nursing.

The role of the Next Generation Nurse Representative creates an opportunity for an early career nurse working in the field of HCT and cell therapy to join our scientific committee as a voice for the Next Generation of transplant nursing leaders.
