Titre court:
NTM post HSCT
Objectif principal:
While, until recently, Non-Tuberculous Mycobacteria (NTM) were considered to be rarely involved in post-transplant complications, they are now rapidly emerging pathogens in the hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) population. Since NTM infections have received little attention so far, data on the incidence and prevalence of these infections is scarce.
Therefore, this study aims to investigate the clinical, radiological and microbiological characteristics of NTM infections in HSCT patients, and also identify risk factors for these infections.
Principaux critères d'inclusion:
For the cases, we would like to include patients, irrespective of type of transplant (autologous or allogeneic), age, underlying disease or year of transplant, who meet the following inclusion criteria:
• History of allogeneic and/or autologous HSCT
• Diagnosis of NTM infection between 01/01/2005 and 30/09/2022
• Clinical sample yielding NTM after HSCT (i.e. from the start of conditioning)
• Suggestive clinical and/or radiological signs of NTM infection

Please select two matched control patients for each case meeting the following criteria:
• Never had a NTM infection
• The same type of transplant as the case (allogeneic or autologous)
• The same age category as the case (being a child (< 18 years old) or an adult (≥ 18 years old)).
• Survived after transplant for at least as long as the case until the case developed the NTM infection
