Online EBMT Exam Preparatory Course

This online course has been specifically designed to support healthcare professionals preparing for certification in haematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) and cellular therapy (CT). The programme focuses on providing a comprehensive and evidence-based foundation, aligned with the latest advancements in the field.

With this online course participants will be able to take the EBMT exam in the Annual Meeting in Florence 2025.

Course Content

The curriculum is grounded in authoritative sources, ensuring participants are equipped with the most relevant and up-to-date knowledge:

  • The EBMT Handbook, a globally recognised reference in HCT and CT.
  • Insights from the EBMT Annual Meeting 2024 and other EBMT events throughout the year.
  • A curated selection of key articles from leading haematology journals, focusing on recent developments and evidence-based practices.

All course materials are now available, except for the Cellular Therapies module, which will be published in February following the EXA-EBMT 7th European CAR T-cell Meeting. 

The module with questions will be released in January.

Format and Structure

  • The course is delivered entirely online, allowing flexibility for participants to engage at their own pace.
  • The modules include theoretical readings, scientific articles, videos, and conference presentations.

  • Regular evaluations help participants monitor their progress and focus on areas requiring further study.

Target Audience

This online course is a free course available for EBMT members (either Individual or Centre Members) or work within a centre that is a member of EBMT.

You can enroll in the course without the need to register for the EBMT exam.

If you are not a member but work at a member centre, please email elearning@ebmt.org and include the following details:

  • First name, last name.
  • CIC number of the member centre.
  • Name of the principal investigator at your centre. 

OR email elearning@ebmt.org and include the following details:

  • CIC number and a document proving that you work at the member centre.

2025 EBMT Exam
